Sankyu (3rd kyu) — Brown Belt Requirements
Sankyu is the fourth senior rank in USJA judo (brown belt). Candidates must be 14+ with 10 months / 80 classes at their current rank, then pass a written and technical exam.
The exam is cumulative: Sankyu candidates are also responsible for everything from Rokkyu, Gokyu, Yonkyu.
